Belmont Cac

Virtual card BELMONT CAC

The bank card that follows you beyond the real world

The virtual card is specifically included in the BELMONT CAC Prime offers.

"What is the virtual card?"

The Belmont Cac virtual card is a dematerialized Visa bank card, meaning it has no physical support. The virtual card is available on the secure client portal, presented as a card number, an expiration date, and a security code. It can be subscribed to individually or included in certain offers(1).

This card allows you to make online purchases, use Click & Collect(2), or make payments via your mobile directly through the Belmont Cac app, using Apple Pay or Paylib (subject to subscription to one of these services).

The card does not allow cash withdrawals from ATMs.

The virtual card is valid for 3 years. After this period, it will be automatically renewed if the card contract has not been terminated.

"And how does it work?"

It’s in the app and ready instantly

Your virtual card is available in your secure client area, accessible notably from the Belmont Cac app(3) as soon as the bank approves your subscription request. No need to wait for a physical card!

It’s adjustable

The card’s payment limit is set based on your income. You can temporarily adjust it(4) from your secure client area on the Belmont Cac website(3) or directly from the Belmont Cac app(3).

It’s insured

By subscribing to the virtual card as part of one of the offers, payments made with your virtual card are covered by the same insurance protections(6) as the Belmont Cac physical card.

The standalone virtual card does not include any insurance coverage.

It’s secure

The virtual card has the same security level as other Belmont Cac cards, thanks to the 3D Secure authentication system provided by Visa under the “Verified By Visa” label.

For security reasons, using the card requires prior installation of the Digital Key(5) feature through the mobile app. To use the virtual card, you must have a smartphone with a compatible iOS or Android version.

For extra security, you can lock and unlock your virtual card whenever you need.

If you subscribe to the virtual card outside of the offers, you choose the type of payment (immediate or deferred) during the subscription request. When you subscribe to the virtual card as part of the Belmont Cac offer, the selected payment type will apply to both the physical and virtual cards.

You can then change your payment type at any time and free of charge by simply requesting it from the Belmont Cac Team.
